UK DoHSC Responds to disinformation aimed at pregnant women
2020 Document misrepresentation shared by many verified accounts
On Tuesday 30 August the UK’s Department of Health and Social Care had to put out an official response to disinformation spreading rapidly online that the vaccine wasn’t safe for pregnant women.
The speed the disinformation proliferated is yet another example of the role a section of the UK media plays in the disinformation network.
The story begins with two different documents that apparently have contradictory advice. HART member Norman Fenton shared this on Twitter.
UKHSA were quick to explain this was a mistake.
Fenton has chosen to continue arguing that somehow this is still evidence pregnant woman shouldn’t be vaccinated.
Media commentators with sizeable followings quickly amplified the message.
It has repeatedly been explained to these blue tick verified individuals regarding the two year gap between the two documents being compared. Allison Pearson of the Telegraph.
This includes Lucy Johnson, health and social affairs editor of the Sunday Express, retweeting the disinformation.
Perhaps Twitter should reconsider who it gives blue ticks to.
Medical disinformation outfits like the World Freedom Alliance linked UK Medical Freedom Alliance founded by Liz Evans also of HART and RFK Jr’s Children’s Health Defense.
Stephen Jackson’s Law or Fiction are also linked to the World Freedom Alliance, and have had multiple failed legal challenges against vaccines and other measures.
Molly Kingsley of Us For Them, who is seeking to become a core participant in the Uk’s Covid Inquiry, with the support of former Children’s Commissioner Anne Longfield, and is working with the current Children’s Commissioner Rachel de Souza and Robert Halfon the chair of the education select committee to pass a bill through parliament that would ban schools from closing for any reason.
#HARTleaks
Unlike claims of being silences, HART have been very good at getting their questions; based on disinformation and designed to create doubt, asked by media and politicians.
Pregnancy and sexual health were quickly seized on as ways of discouraging younger age groups. Here HART members discuss how to put a young man off being vaccinated.
HART members are constantly rummaging around VAERS and Yellowcards, misrepresenting the unverified data. Anna de Buisseret is from HART and leads Lawyers For Liberty. People walking into vaccination centres and police stations to serve “legal papers”, she was involved in that.
This is February 2021
March 2021
Despite the risks of covid to pregnant women being well known HART are determined to prove otherwise, apparently by any means necessary.
Yeadon is currently also advising America’s Frontline Doctors and is claiming covid vaccines are part of a global conspiracy to depopulate the world, he is now also questioning if viruses even exist.
Clare Craig and Christine Padgham demonstrate HART’s approach to the scientific method.
We see how disinformation groups work when it come to their “expert witnesses” as they host podcasts, video channels and mock trials echo chambers.
HART question if anyone should be vaccinated, from that starting point they spend their time trying to create narratives and messaging that fits this view.
Rodger Hodkinson (Pandata, Truth for Health) was also involved in the Canadian Truckers protests. Expect to see the false claims about the two NHS documents being used in anti-vax literature in many countries.
The disinformation groups carefully go through all guidance looking for lines they can pick out to fit their agenda.
Quoting out of date guidance has proven to be a common tactic examples include the WHO’s original statement questioning the use of masks in schools which is over two years old and the JCVI’s initial decision to not recommend vaccination to 12-15 year olds, passing off responsibility to the Chief Medical Officers.
They fail to mention the WHO changed their mask guidance and the JCVI decided to approve a second dose for 12-15 year olds. This does suggest that those choosing to reference a document from 2020 will likely have known that the guidance had since been updated, they just choose the version that they agreed with then label any changes they dislike as political interference or big pharma.
What we end up with is a house of cards, claims they’ve chosen to believe stacked on top of claims. Any new claim they encounter that fits the narrative they will try and find ways to persuade themselves how it fits into their constructed narrative.
I rest my case…
Pattern of behaviour
Its no surprise to certain media commentators, writers and presenters amplifying this information. Many are named in the HARTleaks that demonstrate how disinformation groups reach a larger audience due to media collaboration.
We saw the same the impact the media’s promotion of disinformation can cause when Camilla Turner in the Telegraph reported on a VAERS dumpster dive exaggerating myocarditis from vaccination in teenagers.
Its also worth noting how many of those promoting the latest disinformation decided to tag in Steve Baker, vice chair of the Covid Recovery Group of MPs.
HART are now quoted as experts by members of the Covid Recovery All Party Parliamentary Group funded by Collateral Global which in turn is funded by conservative donor the Georg and Emily Von Opel Foundation and an opaque fund held in the name of the King of Belgium.
