Introducing paid subscriptions

All content to remain free, but donations are welcome

Alongside professional freelance investigative work for national publications, I've maintained this substack as a side project for a years now as a means of putting out information I feel is valuable to the public in helping them to navigate a world of rampant disinformation.

I have decided to introduce paid subscriptions for the simple reason that the algorithms are geared to accounts that can generate revenue for Substack. All content will remain free, I dont expect to make a income from this Substack, however I won’t complain if some of you choose to financially support my work. The occasional single month's subscription as a donation would be welcome as I continue to work on a book which will cover the influence of disinformation on public perception and policy makers, and how the pandemic as a unifying narrative has been used to turbocharge conspiracy theories.

If, against expectations, this does start producing a modest income then the time spent releasing content via this Substack will increase accordingly.

PANDATA File

Mid 2021 I recieved the entire leaked chat logs of the UK based disinformation group HART, whose members have since spawned a succession of offshoot groups. The chats revealed the group’s members to be part of an international disinformation network of interlinked group’s. At the time the South Africa based Pandata was operating as an international organising hub for covid disinformation, containing members of the first Trump administration, with others such as Jay Bhattacharya and Martin Kulldorff who have taken up posts in the current administration.

The HARTleaks contained Pandata's full database and work streams. The membership includes many of the most influential names associated with covid disinformation from many countries. This is the only detailed write up anywhere of the Pandata File.

Immunity Debt

Immunity debt has become the idea a reduction in the circulation of various pathogens during lockdowns has caused population level harm and greater susceptibility to common viruses, particularly in children

Prior to 2021 immunity debt wasn’t a scientific or medical term, and yet over the period of just a few months it became established in the minds of the public and many media experts as if it was a rigorously studied concept.

The reality is that only a few speculative papers and a couple of media mentions launched the concept into common utterance.

This is the story of how immunity debt went from non-existence to a regularly quoted reason for why preventing infections is now apparently undesirable.

UK's Evidence base on covid in children

I will continue covering the evidence the UK relied on to develop a covid in schools policy that appears to have been driven by a herd immunity via infection strategy.

Reports that don’t get the attention they deserve will also get coverage in this Substack. The best example being this EU report.

While the TOTI report is based on activity in EU countries this network, its operations in the UK can be identified.
