Evolving out of citizen research and freelance journalism, the Counter Disinformation Project provides investigative research, strategic and organisational work on countering disinformation.
This is a small operation bringing together the work of many other researchers, journalists and experts in their field. Taking a broad international approach to studying disinformation, the Counter Disinformation Project’s main focus is in regards to political influence, astroturfing groups, opaquely funded think tanks and the role the media plays in creating misleading narratives. Collaborating across borders with similar groups in other countries the project maps out networks of interlinked organisations and produces reports seeking to inform.
#HARTleaks
In the summer of 2021 the Counter Disinformation Project was one of those who gained access to the HARTleaks. The HART group is a UK based organisation claiming to be providing independent unbiased expert advice on covid, the HARTleaks provided researchers and journalists an archive of the group’s entire chat logs. This revealed many in the group to be anti-vaxxers who manipulate data to fit their conspiracy theories, the logs show how many members are also in other overlapping groups which are coordinating with politicians and members of the media to influence policy and misinform.

This substack has been created to make public some of the Counter Disinformation Project’s work in hope of providing a useful resource for those wishing to learn about and counter coordinated disinformation. Alongside comment pieces, news updates and an ongoing series profiling networked organisations, this substack will begin with a series of articles covering the rise of Progressive Eugenics within certain political circles and considers how this has influenced the individualist approach to pandemic management that’s been foisted on us.

Your only goal is to try and discredit people with a lot more knowledge, experience and morals than you’ll ever have.
Rather than facts your only tools are calling people hurty words as much as possible with “right wing” and “ant vaxxer” your pathetic favourite! You obviously don’t read what you write after you’ve written it. 🤦🏻
In the 50’s shills like you were paid ( probably like you) to discredit doctors warning of the dangers of tobacco! Those dangers kept under wraps for decades caused over 100 million preventable deaths!
Going by the amount of likes and comments to this substack it’s highly unlikely your contribution will have anywhere near the same consequences thankfully.
FYI- journalism is about reporting the facts! This substack is just opinion and propaganda.
