Stochastic terrorism imported into the UK
Foreign influence networks want riots in the streets. Southampton, Belfast and misidentified police forced into hiding.
They want Riots
Henry Nowak was murdered on the street. The initial response of the police arriving on the scene looked appalling.
The court case had been heavily trailed online with all sorts of disinformation and rhetoric. The radical and far-right were primed for the conclusion of the case, it wasn't long before police were being attacked in Southampton where the murder occurred.
This is a pattern. X becomes saturated with right-wing accounts ramping up the rhetoric around a court case, the trial concludes and the internet floods with rage, protests are announced and the rent a mob gathers. Many other horrific crimes that don’t fit the narrative because the perpetrators are white, are ignored. The Southport Riots have been the worst example so far, because the brutal murders of small innocent children was such a horrendous act.
The failings of the police response when they arrived on the scene and the recording that’s been released is awful, and naturally stokes emotions, but the moment the case concluded what was said in court was being misrepresented.
A reminder of the judge’s conclusion.
Henry Nowak’s father implicitly urged for his death not to be politicised. His wishes were callously disregarded
Nigel Farage called an emergency press conference to speak of “pure cold rage”, and
Tommy Robinson immediately said he would be going to Southampton. A small but violent mob took to the streets, pulling bricks out of front garden walls to throw at police along with wheelie bins.
11 Police and a police dog were injured.
Many of those who attended were not from Southampton. In attendance were known Nazi’s and fascists, including ethno-nationalists White Vanguard and offshoots of Patriotic Alternative. Videos show men standing in front of the police doing Nazi salutes. It was a small crowd, not everyone there will have been violent however there was clearly a core that came to have a go either verbally or physically at the police.
A local speaking on LBC said it was “one of the most grotesque things I’ve seen…It was a gathering of the far-right, I heard white supremacy.”
A number of the usual right-wing virtue signalling attention seekers also turned up for views on social media particularly X where some accounts have a considerable income from engagement.
One example, a teenage Turning Point UK activist who goes by Young Bob might have bitten off more than he can chew. He live streamed the evening while standing amidst those clashing with the police, and now that the people are being prosecuted its been noted that Young Bob’s footage has probably been helpful in identifying suspects.
The permanently outraged who have made careers out of being culture warriors have taken to their keyboard and podcasts to voice their rage, however between the lines of their claims about two-tier policing, DEI and immigration, there is a sense of frenzied glee that this tragic event can be used to political advantage.
The wishes of Henry Nowak’s family went completely ignored and the reasons given for justifying ignoring their words. We had mainstream commentators sharing suggestions that the family’s words were not their own, and so could be ignored.
When previous reports have been published finding institutional racism within the police, the conclusions were attacked by the same people now claiming the police are anti-white.
When Black Lives Matter protesters were marching in the UK the same characters went berserk about the folly of defunding the police, despite the fact that in the UK there were very few people calling for defunding the police, most wanted better policing and the removal of statues honouring slavers.
Now the radical right are saying the police are entirely untrustworthy as an institution and should be abolished and rebuilt from scratch. At a time when we already had mobs throwing bricks and bins at police, it seems irresponsible for those with large mainstream platforms to have made such calls.
We are now seeing small groups of radicalised individuals videoing themselves “taking the knee for Henry Nowak” inside police stations many miles away from Southampton.
Portraying a false image of the UK overrun by non-white migrants ruled over by an authoritarian regime intent on suppressing free speech serves multiple purposes. Besides radicalising and destabilising the UK, this depiction serves a useful purpose for the Trump administration at home. Considerable swathes of the MAGA base genuinely believe the UK and Europe has been taken over by Islamists with Sharia Law imposed, and the Trump administration is using the UK and EU as a supposed warning in order to justify their policy agenda.
This is why when JD Vance intervenes in UK political debate and Pete Hegseth disgraces the D-Day commemoration they are as much playing to their home audience as they are trying to whip up division in other countries.
At this point its worth checking the EU DisinfoLab matrix of FIMI activities, the journalist Paul Mason highlighted techniques encountered from Farage, Robinson and their MAGA backers around the Southampton riot.
While there is genuine anger in the UK, not just horror at violent acts but a slower burning undercurrent of frustration that comes from a long term erosion of living standards, the UK is under assault by foreign actors. Social media accounts in Asia are incentivised to pose as “patriots” churning out hate and disinformation.
Videos have circulated from various countries of vigils for Henry Nowak, often posted with comments along the lines of “these foreigners care more about white people in the UK than Kier Starmer”. Many of the videos are old footage of other events, such as a traditional Catholic religious gathering in Poland. Not all the footage is fake or misrepresented, there have been some vigils and marches outside the UK. These have mainly been organised and attended by groups belonging to the radical right whose own domestic agenda is advanced by these performative acts.
Stochastic terrorism has come to the UKs shores. The clearest example being a man and a woman who have been forced into hiding after Musk amplified a doxing false claim that they were the police officers who attended the scene of Henry Nowak’s murder. They weren’t the police officers in question, the woman left the police force two years ago, and yet due to disinformation on X they had to abandon their homes. Stochastic terrorism is only possible because there is now a radicalised base willing to lash out at whoever the circus ringmasters paint a target on.
When Cathy Newman, journalist and presenter of Sky News’ flagship politics programme asked Farage some simple but probing questions regarding his use of language, she was inundated with a torrent of threats and abuse online. This level of abuse for a journalist simply asking questions has become normalised with MAGA in the US and the UK is following behind.
Then footage appeared online of a brutal attack on the streets of Belfast which restarted the now familiar cycle. Tommy Robinson shared a post calling for streets in Belfast to be closed, this was quoted by Musk, gaining 7million views, and that evening a mob of mainly men almost all wearing black clothes and balaclavas took to the streets, torching cars and burning out homes. Reporting from the area shows that the attacks were aimed at anyone who wasn’t white.
The next day businesses and schools were closed for fear of more violence, which did come, but not on the scale of the previous day. AI generated images falsely stating upcoming road closures have continued to propagate. The result is that sections of the city have effectively been shut down, when fear of violence impacts whole communities it is akin to a kind of terrorism.
Again from the radical right in the media we have had efforts to downplay and excuse the violence.
One of the most incredulous examples is GB News’ Bev Turner who repeatedly claimed “there were no riots”, “nothing dramatic happened”, it was just “a few teenagers lighting up cars”, before going on to claim that the violence was caused by those who accuse rioters of being far-right.
While Tommy Robinson was calling people out onto the streets here, he was busy having fun in Moscow with Elon Musk’s father and Russian Nazi’s.
Nafeez Ahmed has done a brilliant piece in the Byline Times regarding Robinson’s Russian friends.
Revealed: The Russian Neo-Nazi Network Pushing ‘White Lives Matter’ Division in Britain – Promoted by Tommy Robinson – Byline Times https://share.google/SNxhmTXZOw4TQ8YrP
I’ve seen Toby Young mention on multiple occasions that it only takes a relatively small percentage of the population to take to the streets in order to force change.
These waves of rage will continue, some people from all sorts of backgrounds do terrible things, but examples like a white Neo-Nazi trying to behead a brown skinned man, or white British grooming gangs, will be ignored.
“Stopping the boats” or reducing immigration won’t do anything to help the Labour government. Legal migration is over 80% lower than under Boris Johnson, illegal crossings are down, deportations have considerably increased, and the number of former hotels being used to house asylum seekers has seen a sharp decrease.
Labour’s election promise to cut immigration is one of the areas where the data shows the government has been most successful, much of the media ignores this or says the data can’t be trusted.
“This will keep happening unless something is done”, say the same commentators who ignore the data showing something is being done, for those who want considerably lower immigration there is plenty of room for argument regarding speed and scale of reduction, but much of the right-wing media are still claiming Labour are beholden to leftie ideology and open uncontrolled immigration. This clearly isn’t the case, pro-immigration lefties are very displeased with Labour’s border policies.
The MAGAfication of UK politics means we are in a post-truth world. Those going out onto the streets to attack police and set fire to homes have been emboldened, they do think they are backed by the “silent majority” rather than a noisy minority. There is nothing Labour could do to appease those in the media who are ramping up the rhetoric and seemingly urging people onto the streets.
Reform have been riding high in the polls for some time, but it appears they have hit an upper threshold and have started losing a few points. Now with Musk backed Rupert Lowe’s Restore eating into Reform’s vote in the high stakes Makerfield by-election, Farage is feeling the heat, and he’s been running scared of questions regarding millions in donations from crypto-bro Christopher Harborne.
Farage has decided to chase the Restore vote, with his comments in recent days moving either further to the right with claims that the UK has become “anti-white”. This is what the online amplification of Rupert Lowe by Musk and the armies of trolls and bots, it’s a challenge to Farage to move towards Christian Nationalism and ethno-nationalism, and now after previously saying he wouldn’t take part he is now set to speak at CPAC GB organised by Liz Truss.
There are some who would like to see anarchy on the streets, in part they want to see a snap election forced, and a violent uprising would be seen as an opportunity by the radical right, they would blame everything they don’t like as the cause of the violence. The claim will be “the silent majority makes themselves heard” and will be used to advance a radical agenda akin to Project 2025.
But every time Farage or anyone else with a media platform raises the temperature with their rhetoric, they can’t control what happens next, no-one is in control of the loose coalition of grifters, conspiracy theorists and ideologue extremists.
This has just been shown after Rupert Lowe released his Rape Gang Inquiry report. The report fails the scrutiny test, stating unevidenced figures as facts, for instance the claim that there has been over 250,000 victims of specially Muslim grooming gangs. When the real estimated figures for victims of grooming gangs of all backgrounds combined is much lower. Lowe wrongly tried to paint the issue of grooming gangs as a Muslim only issue but these horrendous crimes are committed by perpetrators of all backgrounds.
What occured next was a 36-year-old white Scottish man in Edinburgh being charged after stabbing five people in an anti-Muslim hate attack. Footage of the incident shows an armed man engaged in a frenzied rampage, when police had the topless man face down on the ground he was shouting about protecting women and children from Muslims. This attack has received a fraction of the attention, as has other very recent events such as a man entering a mosque in Manchester with a weapon, an arson attack on an Imam’s house in Bolton and a spate of other attacks on mosques. These attacks were not plastered across the news as they would have been if the perpetrators were black or brown, and the victims were white.
Toby Young has published a defence of Lowe’s report in his disinformation rag the Daily Sceptic, demonstrating again that despite being a Conservative peer, Young seems to treat far-right groups like Restore or Patriotic Alternative more as fellow travellers than as opponents .
There is li is demonstrating xlftalk in the media of how these individuals have been radicalised. The UK has been stuck in an escalating information war for well over a decade, and it has reached the point where words online are spilling out onto the streets. We are under assault from foreign influence, and its not even subtle.
The UK has a longstanding network of opaquely funded think tanks, that churn out dishonest reports and spin off campaign groups. Right-wing politicians and media figures travel to the Heritage Foundation in the US to be pay homage, or to Congress to testify against the UK, and even call for economic harms against their own country.
We know Jeffrey Epstein, Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon were building alliances across Europe, with Viktor Orban a key ally.
Commentators and think tanks have been found to be funded by Viktor Orbán with money from Russian fossil fuels. Many of these are the same individuals closely linked to Peter Thiel and his minion JD Vance. We know it’s US policy to interfere in UK politics.
The former Welsh leader of Reform is in prison after pleading guilty to taking Russian bribes, we still don’t know what happened when Boris Johnson slipped his security detail abroad to go party at an oligarch’s mansion before arriving dishevelled in an airport, but he did appoint a former KGB officer’s son to the House of Lords. We haven’t seen a full Russia Report. We know the aronists who attacked Kier Starmer’s property were paid and instructed by Russia, and we saw which characters propagated the rent boys conspiracy theory at the time, and who is still promoting this angle despite it having been revealed as propoganda. Listen to Segei and the Westminster Spy Ring by Carole Cadwalladr and Peter Jukes to understand how easily wealthy Russians gained access over a decade ago.
We can identify the networks of influence. Hedgefunder Paul Marshall’s growing media empire and ARC conference featuring the usual cast, and those in the US driving forward Project 2025 including authors like Kevin Roberts. CPAC GB organised by Liz Truss and partnered with the FSU is one of the most obvious examples of direct cooperation with the US to import the MAGA policy agenda.
We know cryptocurrency was an important part of Epstein and Thiel’s plan, relying on Orban and other allies inside Europe to block efforts to regulate the best medium for them to funnel anonymous funding to those they supported. We know Farage remains under pressure to explain the undeclared £5 million personal donation from Thailand based crypto billionaire Harborne, who has provided around £27 million to Farage and Reform. We know another crypto-bro Ben Delo, who was found guilty in the US for failing to meet anti-money laundering requirements and then pardoned by Trump, is another large Reform donor, and has also founded “the Sanctuary” in London where dozens of predominantly right-wing groups gather to use to free facilities, network and collaborate.
We saw the richest man in the world spend over $40 billion to turn Twitter into a far-right conspiracy laden circle jerk, and watched the techbro oligarchs gather to pay tribute to Trump. Dark money flows into organisations shaping political debate while social media is flooded with bots, trolls, and AI slop. There’s conference circuits, and podcasts, oh so many podcasts, YouTube channels, and substacks, it seems like every right-wing influencer and organisation has their own media output, all interviewing each other and repeating the same lines while competing to see who can most whip up outrage in their followers.
All of this has been reported on, but the media landscape in the UK means that even though editors and journalists at the BBC, Sky, ITV and the papers will be aware of all of this, besides a few notable exceptions they won’t call out the full extent of the links, and they certainly won't be properly scrutinising right-wing activists posing as journalists.

Problem-Reaction-Solution
Dear Counter Disinformation Project Team,
I am writing to respectfully request your consideration of a matter that I believe raises profound questions concerning disinformation, state accountability, and the possible fabrication of security threats through coercive practices.
For several years, I have sought investigation, legal remedies, and independent scrutiny regarding allegations of torture, coercion, systematic professional and social sabotage, and security-related entrapment in Norway. Throughout this period, I have exhausted all available remedies in Norway and subsequently sought protection in Switzerland, where I also exhausted all available avenues without obtaining an independent investigation or effective remedy.
My concern extends beyond my individual circumstances.
If allegations of long-term torture, coercion, and psychological manipulation are ever used to influence, manufacture, or reinforce security-related narratives, then such practices would represent not only grave human rights violations but also a form of disinformation. They would undermine the integrity of democratic institutions by creating narratives through coercion rather than through genuine evidence.
The manufacture of perceived threats through coercion, would distort public understanding, influence policy, and weaken confidence in the rule of law. Such allegations therefore deserve careful, independent examination—not simply as potential human rights violations, but as issues affecting democratic governance, transparency, and public trust.
Over many years, I have accumulated extensive documentation, including correspondence with authorities, legal professionals, oversight bodies, international organisations, journalists, and United Nations mechanisms. I also maintain a detailed chronology of events and supporting material that I am prepared to provide for independent review.
I am not asking your organisation to accept my allegations without scrutiny. Rather, I respectfully ask whether you would be willing to examine the documentation, assess whether it raises issues that fall within your expertise, or advise whether another independent organisation would be better placed to investigate.
I believe that if democratic societies are to remain resilient against disinformation, they must also be prepared to examine allegations that challenge official narratives with the same commitment to evidence, transparency, and accountability that they expect in every other context.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I would be grateful for any guidance or assistance you may be able to provide.
Kind regards,
Author of The Accountability Gap
