FLCCC member arrested for "Crimes against humanity", Trump officials 'knifefight' with FDA, are Alternative Treatments, a criminal enterprise?
Investigations, Timelines and Networks
A member of Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), Dr. Flávio Cadegiani, was indicted for crimes against humanity for the “research” he performed without patient consent. He performed human experimentation in Brazil.

Previous reporting on this story
Brazilian authorities began investigating Cadegiani eight months ago.
On August 25th, 2022 the Brazilian Federal Police served four warrants in a search and seizure operation.
The search/seizure operation was big. Allegation is they performed human research without registering the study, thus no oversight by regulatory bodies that work to ensure human experiments remain ethical. The U.S. has the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
FLCCC member Dr. Flavio Cadegiani “was indicted for a crime against humanity.” Dr. Cadegiani is third on the list of FLCCC’s Founding members
The researchers did not consent the patient’s or their families before conducting their human experimentation.
This is not the only criminal investigation being conducted into the growing market of alternative treatments for covid.

Didier Raoult papers earn expressions of concern as criminal investigation gets underway
A leading microbiology society has issued expressions of concern for six papers from a group in France led by the controversial scientist Didier Raoult, whose lab is under investigation by the University of Aix Marseille for “serious malfunctions.”
The move follows the release last month of a 157-page report by investigators related to France’s Health Ministry into Raoult’s research and news that a criminal investigation is underway.
Raoult was among the most prominent floggers of the notion that hydroxychloroquine could treat COVID-19. But while his studies of the drug might have influenced certain American politicians, they and other research from his group haven’t withstood the scrutiny of his peers.
He also has attempted to silence critics of his work, notably Elisabeth Bik, using legal threats and harassment. Raoult’s lab has been sanctioned by the French Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products.
Reporting above from Reaction watch.
Pierre Kory founder of the America’s Frontline Doctors linkes FLCCC organisation has also had his research retracted due to concerns about the data.

The problem with pre-prints
Early on in the pandemic when there was a scramble to understand the virus pre-prints had a useful purpose, getting information out quickly for others to analyse, however as the pandemic has dragged on pre-prints have increasingly been abused, allowing disinformation groups to create a veneer of scientific credibility to papers that would never pass the peer review of a credible journal. In a similar fashion we have also seen questionable rapid responses and comment pieces misrepresented as rigorous science.
This has been a particular problem with alternative treatments such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, papers that never passed peer review which are quoted widely by disinformation groups. Conspiracy theory is an integral part of the alternative treatment movement, the only way to maintain the belief these alternative medicines are effective is to promote the idea they are being intentionally suppressed for the benefit of "“Big Pharma”.
Alternative treatments were already being promoted in February 2020 by members of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, some of which like Peter McCullough are also involved in the Truth for Health Foundation. When vaccines were approved the alternative treatment groups embraced the anti-vax movement and the Nuremberg 2.0 calls for academics and healthcare workers to be be put on trial for promoting vaccines and denying patients “live saving treatments" they are peddling.
An interesting study for behavioural scientists would be to look at how these groups manage the cognitive dissonance of believing that covid is no more dangerous than flu, only killing people who were about to die anyway with the concept that countless lives have been lost due to alternative treatments being withheld.
Of course there will be some who promote alternative medicines for other reasons, for instance it would also be interesting to know why Robert Malone who is double vaccinated and boosted has also been a major source of vaccine disinformation.
It has been suggested some radical pseudoscience groups have promoted alternative medicines as an intentional attempt to undermine trust in medical and government institutions. AFLD, AAPS and others with connections to the secretive Council for National Policy also have connections to the Capitol Hill Insurrection, the most high profile being AFLD’s founder Simone Gold who was imprisoned for his participation. A recent leak reveals Simone Gold is now a member of the Council for National Policy (CNP).
“A knife fight with the FDA”
The US Congress Covid Oversight Committee’s second report in to the actions of the Trump administration’s pandemic response released extensive evidence of the influence of disinformation groups and conspiracy theorists in trying to force through the approval of hydroxychloroquine.
Its worth noting the AAPS are directly named in the report, as is Steve Bannon who is a member of the Council for National Policy.
Connecting the dots, AAPS, CNP, AFLD & FLCCC
AAPS’s members include
February 2020: the Truth for Health Foundation containing several AAPS members including Peter McCullough and Elizabeth Lee Vliet starts promoting alternative treatments including hydroxychloroquine. Other AAPS members did the same.
March: AAPS & Truth for Health member Paul Alexander joins the Trump administration.
April: Pandata is founded, members include the Great Barrington Declarations authors, AAPS and Truth for Health’s Paul Alexander, Peter McCullough and Michael Yeadon.
May AFLD were created by the Council for National Policy, whose members include Steve Bannon. AFLD’s founding member is Simone Gold of AAPS. AFLD are now advised by Pandata members Michael Yeadon and Joel Smalley who are also members of UK based HART.
June - September: Scott Atlas (Pandata) joins the White House as Trump officials have their “knife fight with the FDA”
Meanwhile AFLD and Truth for Health are setting up medical telesales and consultation services which recommend alternative treatment protocols.
November: Trump leaves office, focus shifts to ivermectin.
December: Pierre Kory publishes a paper on ivermectin,
January 2020, Kory contacts Pandata and HART member Tess Lawrie regarding Ivermectin and the creation of FLCCC. Tess Lawrie produces a paper on ivermectin which is used to promote ivermectin by the many disinformation groups linked to Pandata. Lawrie with fellow HART members Edmund Fordham and Jemma Moran founds the British Ivermectin Development Group.
Ivermectin quickly becomes the alternative medicine of choice for anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists.
Lawrie and others would go on to form the World Council for Health. Members from across the disinformation groups are involved, either as members, partner organisations or as speakers at their ticketed events and conferences.
What’s the benefit of disinformation?
The question is regularly asked, why do people engage in disinformation? The majority of people will genuinely believe in what they are saying, its no coincidence the anti-vax and covid conspiracy believers have been likened to certain fundamentalist Evangelical churches. The HARTleaks show many members of the group entertain all sorts of conspiracy theories that fit with their world view, Michael Yeadon being the perfect example of someone who has fallen down the rabbit hole as the pandemic has progressed.
Others engage in disinformation despite knowing they are propagating falsehoods, an ends justify the means attitude. A good example of this would be those who celebrated the approval of vaccination as a route out of the pandemic but opposed mandates out of principle who went on to work with anti-vaxxers and use their talking points. While some have since stepped over the line into the anti-vax movement, others have managed to straddle the pro and anti vax worlds by celebrating vaccines for adults while opposing them for children.
For those whose disinformation is politically motivated it can be much more complex, there is an animated political base to capture, institutions to undermine ( both in trust and resources), and fundamentally a view on the role of the state. The financial incentives are much simpler to identify
Core members of some organisations appear to be working full time for organisations that state their funding comes from supporters' donations. Legal challenges against protective measures have raised considerable sums of money, while some have incurred considerable court costs others have resulted in surplus donations in the tens of thousands that are then absorbed by the organisations.
Some organisations are raising money through the promotion of alternative treatments such as the British Ivermectin Research Group, FLCCC and Truth for Health. Many involved in covid disinformation also have financial links to alternative medicine such as homeopathy. Nick Hudson the founder of Pandata owns an alternative medicines company.
Telesales have generated considerable profits for AFLD and Truth for Health is establishing
Disinformation group members have built media profiles, articles written for some publications like the will be paid commission while subscription substacks, podcasts and youtube channels can generate sizeable incomes.
An international conference and events circuit is developing based on pseudoscience and conspiracy theories with entrance fees ranging from £15 for an evening to almost £400 for a full conference pass. Merchandise is sold at these events which includes an increasing number of books written by those who have built their media profiles on disinformation. The speaker lists for each event contains many of the same names.
Organisations like the World Freedom Alliance offers fee based training courses on activist organising and leadership while the Together Declaration offer a pyramid of membership levels with the highest costing £1,000.
WCH - The Better Way Conference
An example of the conference circuit is the World Council for Health’s Better way conference. Demonstrating the interlinked nature of disinformation groups Caegiani was a speaker at the first conference which was in the UK during May 2022.
The original location had to be moved after the local council refused the booking
The event was sponsored by the US based Unity Project and the UK based Vax Control group.

The disinformation network is real
The Republican Disinformation Pipeline
Without access to the White House, since 2021 disinformation groups have increased their influence at state level. Some like Scott Jensen of Pandata and World Doctors Alliance are even standing for office while DeSantis in Florida surgeon general is linked to AFLD.
While efforts are made in California to stop legislation aimed at clear medical disinformation, other states have legislation introduced to facilitate the disinformation groups.
