Everyone Else is Lying to You
Jonathan Howard MD's sequal to We Want Them Infected is out now
I don’t normally do book reviews or promotional posts however I will make an exception for Jonathan Howard who i’ve had the privilege to get to know over these years since covid emerged.
“Everyone Else is Lying to You”, is what the contrarians said as they grew their brand and cynically undermined trust in institutions.
For those who haven’t already read We Want Them Infected, the book charts in meticulous detail the information war that’s been waged over covid. Howard’s focuses on those whose whole strategy relied on deceit and disinformation, which he demonstrates brilliantly in these books by simply using their own words against them. The books are packed full of quotes, that those who are constantly revising history would often prefer to forget.
These individuals drape themselves in a sense of victimhood, re-centreing the narrative of the pandemic to make themselves the heroes of the story, battling against a level of censorship that saw them quoted daily in the national news, attending private meetings in the White House, and for some even being awarded positions within the Trump 2.0 administration.
In my opinion there are two important differences between Howard and the covid contrarians he criticises.
Howard went to work on the hospital wards in New York when the first wave hit hard, while the contrarians tapped away on keyboards and popped up in the media to claim that what he was seeing with his own eyes, wasn’t actually happening.
Howard is able to admit when he gets it wrong.
Everyone Else is Lying to You, picks up where We Want Them Infected ended, and charts the undermining of public health through scientific slieght of hand and bombastic rhetoric that created the political space for someone as unsuitable as RFK Jr to be made custodian of the health of the most powerful nation on Earth.
In the book’s foreward
notes:Have you noticed that almost nobody talks about COVID anymore? At least not in the mainstream press, and certainly not as an ongoing problem. That ended sometime after the deadly omicron wave killed roughly 210,000 Americans. It’s strange really, this post-pandemic reality.
How did we get here? How did we get to the heads of the HHS and NIH standing on stage supporting the President of the United States claiming paracetamol causes autism?
By reminding us of exactly what the contrarians have said, Howard charts the toxification process that’s turned covid into a topic most would prefer to avoid, however as he often highlights, those who claimed covid was over five years ago can't stop talking about covid.
While the contrarians have churned out books built around personal grievance, there are far fewer books on the coordinated nature of covid disinformation ecosystem which has expanded to all vaccines and beyond. We Want Them Infected has become an important reference book for those who write about the covid disinformation ecosystem, at the least, Everyone Else is Lying to You will become just as important.

The problem is that other people went to hsopitals in new York City as well and took video. So his initial claim is easily dismissed. What people saw has also been written in books that will never get the coverage youre giving this person. The historical revisionists are projecting their revisionism on anyone and everyone who saw what they were doing in realtime and won't be trusting them with anything anytime soon...
There's been some academic research on the "convergent disinformation ecosystem." The anti-vaccine, anti medical establishment loons overlap with the super-magas, the russia lovers pushing kremlin shit, the climate science rejecters, "American Empire bad," some of the super anti Israel stuff and joooo-hate (going back before October 7, 2023), and other anti-esablishment and conspiratorial outrage farming.
